Soldered microcomputer socket backwards... am I screwed? [SOLVED]

Absolute electronics newbie here, just realised that the microcomputer socket (step 2) is soldered on backwards. The notch that I thought was the notch to align it was not the right notch! Only realised as I affixed the microcomputer.

What should I do from here? I have no idea where to go next with this. Have I ruined it completely? Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

@DARWINbuino, you’re not screwed, just continue soldering your MAKERbuino.
Note that you’ll have to insert the chip on the right side (opposite to the notch on the wrongly soldered socket).

Thank you for supporting MAKERbuino!

Thank you! It works now, even though I thought nothing would really happen. Thank you so much!
