Hi there.
Just started building the makerbunio, and found out the hard way that the JST connector on the board was incorrectly fitted (not by me), So the regulator overheated. How do I go about getting this regulator replaced FOC as the fault is with a part which came pre-fitted on the kit. I can’t take it back to my local store (Maplins) as they are closing down and cannot accept any returns and don’t have any other kits in stock.
I would also point out that someone else hit the same problem reading the blog, so maybe something should be released as update warning people of the fault with certain boards.
Now will have to wait to source a replacement regulator - feeling sad
