Device powers up, showing a black screen

Hi there,
After replacing a defective screen [see here], it worked fine. However, a couple of weeks later, the device ceased to work properly:

  • Sometimes when I power it up, it doesn’t show anything on the screen, while sound works
  • Sometimes it takes about 20 seconds from power-up for the startup sound to be played; screen doesn’t work here either
  • I replaced the screen with a new one I have, and now the screen is not blank – rather it’s black. If I look at the screen in ~15° I can notice the image [see a short video of this here].

The reset trick didn’t work this time.
Any ideas…?

Please, can you try adjusting the contrast on your device? You need to navigate to the SETTINGS program and choose the “checkup wizard”. There, you will be able to adjust your screen contrast
